Jemma Kadzh is the author of the first and the second how-to-make-a-teddy-bear books in Russia.
The book «Construction of designer’s patterns. «Live effect» stuffing method» of the «Teddy Bear and his Friends» series was published in 2005 by Design Kora publishing house. The book can be bought in galleries and artist stores or on the Internet: http://www.dollbooks/03.html.
The book is an illustrated edition constituting of 80 enamel-pages in the laminated cover. It contains the description of fabrics and materials for teddy-making, a manual for pattern construction, outlines and designs, a manual for making a teddy-bear starting from nothing, description of the author’s «Live effect» stuffing method, a catalogue of author’s articles, three patterns.
The book «Teddy Bears» was published by Olma-Press publishing house in 2006. It was printed in 12000 copies that were for sale in Russia’s bookstores. The hard-covered book consists of … illustrated pages. The book is designed for a wider range of readers.
The contents of the second book are common with the first one though slightly amended. There also appeared a chapter titled «How to make a different toy based on a teddy-bear pattern». The book includes a catalogue of the author’s later teddy-bears and six fresh teddy-bear patterns.
